Duck Hunting

Considering the Pere Marquette River is a haven for all types of fish and wildlife, duck hunters love the Ludington area. The Nova Motel welcomes all hunters and their pets during duck season October 1-November 27.

The Nova Motel has lots of room for your dog to run within the six wooded acres in back. And if you're in need of a kennel, just head down 1st Street and turn right on Meyers and you'll find Anderson Creek Kennels. They'll be glad to board your pet in a clean, safe environment if you need that service.

The beauty of the Ludington area is that it is surrounded by natural resources, including lakes, rivers, and the Manistee National Forest. Hunters and campers can find numerous places in which to enjoy their activities--in a community that's quiet and friendly. It makes for a wonderful getaway any time of year.
